Listen to family members recount their experience growing up inside the Haas-Lilienthal House through the decades while exploring the house's softly lit rooms during the evening hours. Hear from local historical experts recount the unique history of the neighborhood and the special aspects of Victorian architecture and interiors while exploring the house at your own pace.
Visitors will be able to access the audio tour two ways, by using audio equipment provided to you onsite OR downloading audio files and using their cellphone and earbuds. Tickets will be sold on the day of the event.
The Haas-Lilienthal House is owned and operated by San Francisco Heritage, a non-profit dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of San Francisco's unique architectural and cultural identity. The house now serves as the organization's headquarters and as the city's only Gilded Age house museum open to the public year-round. It is also recognized as a National Treasure in 2012 by the National Trust for Historic Preservation and as San Francisco Landmark #69.
