Antoine Boyer & Yeore Kim Quartet

Antoine Boyer est un guitariste de renommée internationale qui a bu très tôt aux sources les plus authentiques du jazz manouche en étant le disciple des maîtres Mandino Reinhardt et Francis Alfred Moerman. Engagé en parallèle dans une formation classique, il joue ce qu'il appelle un "open jazz" mêlant de manière unique les différents univers musicaux qu'il a côtoyés. En mai 2021 il signe Tangram, un nouvel album en collaboration avec la fantastique harmoniciste Yeore Kim, diplômée du Seoul Music University. En duo et en quartet, leur deux instruments s’accordent dans un style qui leur est propre, laissant une très large place à l’improvisation, combinant avec finesse leur personnalité aux influences de musiciens tels que Django Reinhardt, Toots Thielemans ou encore Radiohead.

Antoine Boyer is an internationally renowned guitarist who drank from the most authentic sources of gypsy jazz at a very early age as a disciple of the masters Mandino Reinhardt and Francis Alfred Moerman. In parallel with his classical training, he has been playing what he calls "open jazz", mixing in a unique way the different musical worlds he has encountered. In May 2021, he signed Tangram, a new album in collaboration with the fantastic harmonica player Yeore Kim, a graduate of Seoul Music University. In duo and quartet, their two instruments are in tune with each other in a style that is their own, leaving a lot of room for improvisation, combining with finesse their personality with the influences of musicians such as Django Reinhardt, Toots Thielemans or Radiohead.
