We are pleased to invite all scientists, clinicians, and students in the biomedical and life sciences communities to a special Mini-Colloquium on Myeloid Cells in Pulmonary Physiopathology, featuring a keynote seminar by Professor Thomas Marichal from the University of Liège, Belgium. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from one of Europe’s top immunologists and discover cutting-edge local research on lung disease and immune regulation. The event will conclude with a convivial buffet and the HDR defense of Dr. Qiang Bai.
Professor Thomas Marichal is an internationally recognized leader in lung immunology, head of the Laboratory of Immunophysiology at the GIGA Institute. His work, published in Science Immunology, Nature Immunology, and other top journals, has reshaped our understanding of myeloid cell roles in lung immunity and repair. He was awarded prestigious prizes including the ERC Consolidator Grant (2023) and the Baillet Latour Biomedical Award (2022).
