STEEV LEMERCIER is a Swiss-French-Sicilian multimedia artist moving between performance art, music productions and deejay-ing. His subjects deal with the human conditions; the most basic emotions, sexuality, gender identity, addressing sensibilities, rage & fantasies in the contemporary political landscapes.” JD SCHNEIDER was born in Geneva. Mad for scandalous cinema and strange worlds, he was noticed from his beginnings for his atypical and formally powerful universe. His films have won several prestigious awards that highlight his particular look. Parallel to directing, he also edited a few feature films, including "Spartiates" by N.Wadimoff (Grand Prix de Solothurn 2015). In 2017, he wrote and co-signed with Julien Dumont "The 5th Horseman", an apocalyptic digital series co- produced by the NIFFF. In 2018, he developed a television series based on Frankenstein. At the same time, he is in pre-production of Demolition Party, a feature film adapted from the play written by Olivia Csiky Trnka, and writing Memphis, a cosmic slasher scheduled for 2023.
