2020 in monologues - TFAC, ECOLINT and Palabras+

For Week of the Spanish Language 2022 , Palabras+, TFAC Geneva and the International School ECOLINT will be producing a trilingual version of the play "2020 in monologues". The representation is free; funds raised from the theater bar will support Palabras+'s efforts in covering the education costs of 13 children in Senegal for the second year in a row.

"2020 in monologues" is a series of monologues about the joys and tribulations in people’s lives during the year 2020. It is a compilation of human stories aimed at shedding light upon various individual journeys during a time of social distancing. COVID-19 pandemic has affected our communities differently and profoundly, but the play isn’t about the pandemic; it is about love, loss, connection and loneliness, fear, family, growth, self-discovery and all the things that bind us together.

This original play, curated by TFAC Geneva, was first performed in French and English in June 2021 at the Théâtre des Grottes. The profits raised were then donated to local charities. The same year, Palabras+ translated the script into Spanish. This will be a unique opportunity to enjoy a rich trilingual representation of the monologues! The show will start at 19h, but we look forward to sharing a drink with you at our charity bar, hosted by ECOLINT students as part of their CAS projects.
